After a lackluster first half filled with missed chances and two goals by Sporting, Real rallied to score three goals in the second half to defeat Sporting 3 - 2. Fans who missed the first twenty minutes of the game were suprised to discover that Real was down 2 - 0 at the break. Real's hard work and determination in the first twenty minutes of the second half yielded a Sean Guidice goal off of a failed Sporting clearance. With less than 10 minutes left in the game, Sean-Michael Callahan found a streaking Jimmy Frazelle for the equalizer. Not satified with the single point for a tie, Real players grabbed the ball out of the back of the net to get the game restarted quickly. With less than three minutes left in the game, Sean Buchanan's persistence paid off when a cross from Sean-Michael Callahan was mishandled by the Sporting keeper. Stunned Sporting fans watched as Buchanan gained possession and passed the ball into an open net for the game winner. Up next for Real is a showdown with second place Dixon Leon at Dixon's Rottveel Park.
