In what was an upset-filled weekend, Real San Juan was stunned by last place Titanes in Woodland Sunday. With the recent additions of veteran CCSL players Ramon Ortega, Jaime Garcia and "Man of the Match" Juan Solorio, Titanes pulled off a 1 - 0 upset of the three time CCSL Champions.

Probably the most anticipated game of the season, Real San Juan regained first place in a hard-fought 2-1 victory over AC Cruz Azul at Southside Park on Sunday afternoon. Both teams came in deadlocked on 16 points and judging from the past two weeks, it could be stated that Cruz came in as the favorites.

Lobos who have earned several good results this year, is a vastly improved side from last year. Real San Juan recorded their 5th win in a row, while registering another clean sheet by defeating 2nd place CASA Sporting 2-0 at Southside Park Sunday afternoon.

RSJ, four points clear of Sporting at the beginning of the match, have had some high-scoring contests with the green-and-whites in the past; this was not to be the case as the RSJ defense remained aggressive and disciplined.
Chimienti Helps Lead U.S. to Beach Soccer World Cup (Click to Read More)
Current Real San Juan striker Anthony “Mario” Chimienti is one of the key figures in the U.S. National Beach Soccer team scheduled to begin tournament play in Rio De Janiero, Brasil, beginning this weekend.

Chimienti, who also featured in the 2006 version of the Cup, helped the U.S. defeat Mexico 5-4 in the CONCACAF Final, scoring the first goal, to qualify first in the region.

    After several years of struggle against Aguias PSC, Real San Juan finally made a breakthrough, winning 2-0 at Southside Park.

Both teams entered the match shorthanded with Aguias missing starters and RSJ having to play without strikers Anthony Chimienti and Jimmy Frazelle, as well as winger Tim Bystrowski.

Real San Juan avoided the proverbial ‘trap game’, by beating Titanes of Gridley 6-0 at Southside Park on Sunday afternoon. A week before playing noted rival Aguias PSC, RSJ took control of the match early and never looked in trouble of relinquishing their dominance.
RSJ Unleashes 8 - 1
A week after struggling to score against FC Ireland, RSJ erupted for 8 goals against CCSL Premier newcomers Buenos Aires of Stockton. Pat Nelle led all scorers with a "hat trick" and 1 assist and 5 different RSJ players joined the goal scoring onslaught.

The game opened with RSJ coming out in a 3-5-2 formation with a back three of Marcos Mercado, Brent Hamilton and Kenyon Hill. Jimmy Frazelle, Art Tremblador and John Jones started as the three center mid-fielders with Eliot Ricks-Chambers and Ralph Cazel on the flanks, and Anthony Chimienti and Pat Nelle up top.
